Here is a youth shotgun program for any interested scouts.

 

 

Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP)

Thank you for your interest the Scholastic Clay Target Program in Rochester, MN. Our goal is to provide a comfortable structured shooting venue with trained coaches to help youth develop safe proficient shotgun skills for sporting clays, trap, skeet and hunting.

Eligibility: This program is opened to any youth (boys and girls) age 11 or older that has at minimum completed the on-line portion of the MN DNR Firearms Safety Training.

Practice Dates: Friday evenings beginning May 9th from 6:00 - 9:00. We will also offer shooting opportunities on other dates to accommodate youth schedules.

Venue: Gamehaven Scout Reservation “five stand” sporting clays facility located south of Rochester on highway 1.

Cost: $30 if registered by May 9th. $35 for registration after May 9. There will be a $10 fee per round of 25 shots which covers shells and clay targets that are provided by the program. We also have youth guns available for loan.
